Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi -n-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley/Gorges
Our guides will pick up you from Marrakech and begin our trip to the Dades Gorges across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass (2260m.) From the pass you’ll have incredible views across the High Atlas Mountains dotted with Berber villages. We continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou and explore the site with your guide. We eat lunch close by before continuing on the road of a thousand Kasbahs, We continue to the Dades George and spend the night.
Day 3 : Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – – Merzouga (Night in desert)
In the morning you can take a short walk in the Dades Gorges before continuing to Erg Chebbi in the Sahara desert at Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way as we visit the famous Todra Gorge. We continue passing the villages of Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud to reach our camp nearby the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We break for tea before riding camels to the sand dunes to watch the sunset and then back to the camp for dinner under a starry night.
Day 3: Camel Trekking back to Merzouga- Atlas mountains – Marrakech
We wake early to watch the sunrise in the dunes, eat breakfast, and then make our way back to Marrakech. We return on a slightly different path, passing through Alnif, Tazarine, N’kob. We pass through the Valley of Draa, the main trading road of the old camel caravans, and lunch in Ouarzazate. Back by way of the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, we arrive in Marrakech in the early evening.
note: this tour can be the other way round start from Fes and ends in Marrakech.
1st day: Fes- Merzouga
2nd day: Merzouga-Todgha gorges- Dades gorges
3rd day: Dades gorges- Ait ben haddou-Marrakech
