12 days tour departure Casablanca is one of long tours in Morocco, a tour with blend of culture, nature and adventure. In the last days we stop to discover the most touristic city in Morocco, Marrakech city with it’s most fabulous sights. The tour also give an opportunity to have some moments in the Atlantic ocean with a day trip to Essaouira city.

Program: 12 days tour departure Casablanca desert
Day 1: Transfer from the airport of Casablanca to your Riad in Rabat
Depending on the time of your arrival, we may have time to visit the mosque of Hassan II before we drive to Rabat for overnight. Night in Rabat
Day 2: Casablanca – Meknes – volubilis – Fes
We start driving toward the imperial city of Meknes, was chosen by Sultan Moulay Ismail as his capital at the end of 17 century, the city built with 20 gates, more than 50 palaces and 15 miles of surrounding wall. We discover some Meknes highlights of the city as Bab Mansour gate, Place El-Hedim (Square of Ruins), we will visit the well known Haras de Meknès, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
We continue to the archaeological site of Volubilis (Walili) and start discovering the fascinating Roman ruins adorned with beautiful mosaics and colorful tiles depicting Roman mythology. Volubilis has been classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site and most attractive site in the region, we continue to Fes for the night.
Day 3: FES- FES guided tour
With our guide, you start a day tour in the city of Fez, where time in the old medina stands still. An exquisitely well-preserved medieval city of donkey-wide alleyways and souks. Visit La Mederasa Attarine, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the mosques of El Karaouyine, Mesera Bou Inania, Bab Jloud. Dinner, Hotel
Day 4: FES – AZROU – MIDELT- MERZOUGA DUNES
Our guide will pick you up at 8h00 in your Riad/hotel in fes, we start our trip across the Middle Atlas to the dunes of the Erg Chebbi via Ifrane, Azrou, cedar forests and the Ziz valley gorge. It’s an interesting route with a great landscape that offers great shuts with different sceneries for photographers, we stop for lunch in Midelt. We continue to the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes where you will ride a camel for 2 hours to enjoy the sun sit in 250m and nearby we spend the night in Berber campsite where dinner is freshly prepared and served under the stars. after dinner, it all the time nice to join round fire for some music with drums
Day 5: Merzouga dunes – Todgha Gorges – Dades gorges
If we wake up early enough, we can watch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. After breakfast, we leave to Tinghir and the Todgha gorges for lunch. The road passes through Tinjdad and the Todgha Valley. Here there are plenty of opportunities to walk, such as along the river through the gardens or up the road on the other side of the gorges. We continue to the other gorges of Dades f the night. Day 6: Dades gorges – Tizi n Tzazert – Bab N Ali – Ighazzoun
After breakfast in our hotel, we take the road toward the mountain of Saghro, via Tizi n Tzazert with an amazing landscape of this volcanic mountain. we stop in the most famous sight of Bab n Ali for lunch in a small guest house before we start walking for 3 hours to reach the camp in Ighazzoun valley. Day 7: Ighazzoun – Tawhyyant
Our trekking adventure and nomad homestay start in the early morning, we start walking towards the nomad camp where we will be staying for the night, it would be our authentic experience to discover the old lifestyle of Morocco, if someone would be interested in helping the nomad with some day activities that would be an amazing chance. Day 8: Tawhyyant – Tifdassine – Nkob
We walk down for 4 hours among the Jbel Saghro hospitality to reach the valley of Tifdassine with amazing views and the company of the mules carrying the luggage. We meet our drivers again in this valley and start our drive to the small town of Nkob where we will spend the night.
Day 9: Nkob – the valley of Draa – Ait Ben Haddo – Marrakech
After the breakfast the road takes us to the famous valley of the palm trees ; the valley of the Draa where we will take some off-road « old caravan road», then we cross the anti atlas mountain through Tizi n Tnifit pass 1660m to Ouarzazate city, we continue to Ksar Ait Ben Haddo which is the UNESCO world heritage, after the visit we will have lunch there before we took the road crossing the high atlas mountain in Tizi n Tichka pass 2260m arriving Marrakech in the early evening.
Day 10: Marrakech – Marrakech
After breakfast, you explore Marrakech’s historical sites with your local guide: Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. Tour the walls of the old medina, Agdal Gardens, the new Geeliz district, the markets, and the famous Djemaa El Fna Square. The famous square – the size of a football field -is as it was 500 years ago: storytellers, vendors of Magic potions, dancers, snake charmers, and acrobats. Dinner, Hotel
Day 11: Marrakech- Essaouira
The trip starts at 08h to Essaouira, is many tourists ” darling” Previously known as Mogador to the Portuguese inhabitants, it is a charming small town on the coast well- known for local handicrafts, especially thuja wood furniture, carving and small art crafts, sold in innumerable shops along the windy streets.After being there around the midday there is free time to walk by the cost and experience the Atlantic coast of Morocco.
To discover the beauty of this small town of Essaouira we will make the departure in the afternoon to Marrakech crossing again this beautiful road of Argan trees where you can observe the goats climbing up the trees. Night in a Riad
Day 12: Transfer to the airport of Marrakech
