During this desert trip in Morocco, you will experience camel riding in the desert, spend a night in the magical dunes of Erg Chegaga camp, and more!
Our 1st day of this desert trip from Agadir to Erg Chegaga dunes will start at 8 am. our driver will pick you up from your hotel and start driving towards Taliouin, varied landscapes will be on our way towards the beautiful Erg Chegaga. When we arrive at Taliouine; this small town is very famous for its Saffron products a break will be taken to enjoy the Moroccan tea with Saffron. Afterward, We continue towards Foum Zguid where we will stop for lunch before we start driving off-road toward the big dunes. Crossing the famous dry lake of Iriki, We stop for some pictures on the flat dry lake before we head to our camp.
Your camel riding experience will start from the camp towards the big dunes to enjoy the beautiful sunset of the Sahara desert. During the night there will be some drumming music played for you to fully enjoy the night in the Sahara while the starry sky is always there to enjoy. Overnight in the Camp
2rd day: Chegaga dunes –Mhamid- Zagora- Agdez
Waking up early morning in the Erg Chegaga will make you inspired by its beautiful landscape with the first light on the dunes, We start our second day of the trip driving off-road towards Mhamid village where we will meet the paved road again. We continue towards Tamgroute famous for its poetry factory where we will take a break to explore the process of this unique production of the region, then We will follow Draa valley to its capital, Zagora city where we will stop for lunch.
After lunch, We will follow Draa valley with its gorgeous palm trees along the way towards our accommodation in the middle of the valley.
3rd day:Agdez – Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou
To enjoy more of the valley we propose a walk on its palms before we head towards Ouarzazate city, known for its Cinema production, where we will stop to discover its highlights including Taourirt Kasbah as well as the Cinema Studio. Later on, We drive to our hotel in Ait Ben Haddou, this little town hosts one of the oldest Ksar in the south; which become a UNESCO site in 1987 a site where several international movies were filmed. We drop a visit by the sunset before we come back to our hotel. Overnight in Ait Ben Haddou
4rd day: Ait ben Haddou-Taznakht- Agadir
On our last day trip, we will head towards Taznakht; famous for its Handmade carpets, then we drive back towards Talouin and Taroudant. On our way back We still can make stops to picture the beautiful landscape of South Morocco. We arrive in Agadir where we will drop you at your hotel.
