Moroccan lakes tour Itinerary:
1st day: Fes – Aguelmam Azigza lake
Our lakes road trip and camping Starts in Fes, where we will pick you up from your hotel/ Riad. We drive to Khnifra in the middle of the Atlas mountains where our adventure to the beautiful Aguelmam Azegza begins. This lake is one of the best lakes in Morocco, mostly visited during summertime, when we will camp and spend some joyful moments, opportunities to swim or fish in the lake are available.
We usually suggest small hikes to take some memorable pictures on the top before we come back to our camp just a few meters from the water.

2nd day: Aguelmam Azigza- Tiguelmamine lakes
Today We are still in the Middle Atlas mountains, but it requires over an hour’s drive through the forest to reach our next camping lake, Tiguelmamine lakes, two beautiful outstanding lakes, with fewer visitors offering a magical camping night in the middle of nature! two of the best lakes where you can swim in Morocco with many hiking opportunities!

3rd day: Tiguelmamine lakes – lake Tislit- lake Isli
After our amazing time around Khnifra, we drive to our next destination and that would be Imilchil. Where two beautiful lakes of Tizlit and Isli are situated, the drive itself offers an amazing landscape through the valleys and Berber villages. Once we reach Tislit lake we will stop there to enjoy a peaceful time with some pictures before we drive off-road for 15 km to reach Isli lake where we will spend our camping night.

4th day: lake Isli – Ouarzazate
Our unique road trip will cross the amazing valley of Imilchil, Berber villages all the way offer an amazing view. We will cross the Gorges of Todgha one of the best canyons in Morocco where we will stop for lunch before we head to Ouarzazate city. As it is meant to be a natural Morocco tour, we will spend tonight in an Ecolodge, not that far from Barrage El Mansour Eddahbi, it will be a break from the lake’s adventure where a hot shower is provided.

5th day: Oaurzazate – Lake Tamda
We leave the comfort of the ecolodge, driving toward the High Atlas mountains, our next lake to visit is Tamda lake, a very isolated with extreme beauty, often Nomads with their herds are around the region, the lake is a non-tourist region which makes it the most calming lake of the tour.
For those who love to fish, Tamda is one of the best places to fish in the very calming environment of the High Atlas mountains.
We drive towards one of the Mountain valleys in Morocco named Ounilla, where we meet our muleteer with his mule who will carry our camping equipment while we hike for 2-3 hours to reach the lake.

6th day: Lake Tamda – Lake Ifni
After the early breakfast in Tamda lake, we hike back to the valley where we left the car, then We drive towards the other amazing lake. The road trip continues to explore the lake of Ifni, situated in Toubkal national park with an elevation of 2295 Meters. The road offers a glimpse of charming valleys and small-town life in the Midwest. Once we arrive, we drop the car in Amsouzart valley and hike towards the lake, where we will settle our last camp of the tour package.
The Ifni lake has been known as the best camping place for hikers who climb Toubkal, therefore it may be a cold place during winter with outstanding views of the snow.

7th day: Lake Ifni – Marrakech
After enjoying the morning breakfast on the lake, Our last day of the Morocco camping tour will start with a hike back to the car, then a drive crossing Tizi N Tichka pass towards Marrakech. Our road trip ends in This famous charming city where you will have time to explore the city and visit its varied sights.
We will drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech and be free to explore the charming Marrakech

When is the best time for the camping tour:
The lakes where we camp is situated in mountains with some altitude, around the lakes is chilly during the night all year round, however, if you wish to swim there is no better than the summer months ( June, July, and August).
For the photography, every season is just amazing!! During every season the lakes we visit have a particular beauty that you can’t discover in the other season.
