Itinerary for Family Tour in Morocco:
1st day: Travel from Casablanca to Marrakech
Welcoming by our driver at the airport Mohamed V in Casablanca, the tour will be a short drive of 3 hours from Casablanca to Marrakech. taking the highway crossing the beautiful countryside. We drop you in your Riad in Marrakech Medina
2nd day: Marrakech to Ouarzazate city
After a relaxing evening, at your Riad in Marrakech, Our guides will pick up and begin our trip to Ouarzazate city, across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass (2260m.) From the pass, you’ll have incredible views across the High Atlas Mountains dotted with Berber villages. We continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou and explore the site with your guide. Afterward, we eat lunch close by before continuing to Ouarzazate where we will stop to visit the Cinema studios. One of the best attractions especially if you and your kids have never seen the background of the movie site. Night in Ouarzazate
3rd day: Ouarzazate – Nkob Village
If We haven’t seen the Kasbah of Taourirt yet, We will drop a visit before we head the road toward our destination. We cross the Anti-Atlas mountain, Where you observe the change of the scenery as we are getting deeper into the Sahara desert. Later on, We reach the Valley of Draa, the longest valley of palm trees in Morocco. We will stop for a short walk in its kasbahs and fields and have lunch.
After lunch, We will head to Nkob village, Tonight will be in a Kasbah with a swimming pool that you would love to spend the afternoon. You will have the opportunity to walk in the village of Nkob and its amazing 45 Kasbahs, a Unique view of Jbel Saghro and its small Oasis. Night in a Kasbah
4th day: Nkob – Merzouga Sahara desert
Today’s tour will be to reach the Dunes of the Sahara desert, known also as the Merzouga desert, where the red dunes are magical. We will stop for some photos before we head to the village of Khamlia, where entertainment of Gnaua Music is provided by one of the Musical groups. Later on, We will stop for lunch, Madfouna or Berber pizza as it is known can be your special dish in the region.
In the afternoon, We will go for a drink in one of the hotels with a swimming pool. Before sunset, we will start our camel trek experience to reach the luxury camp. Riding the camel is a smooth activity that both adults and kids would love to experience, for two hours with the spectacular view of the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Night in the luxury camp will be the highlight of the day, Where you will enjoy sitting by the fire, enjoying the drumming music played by the staff of the camp, and stargazing around the camp.
5th day: Merzouga – Todgha Gorges- Dades Valley
If you wake up early there is an opportunity to enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes, and probably do some sand surfing if your kids want to. Later on, we will enjoy breakfast, then take a camel ride back before we start to drive towards the Todra Gorges, one of the most famous canyons in Morocco, a walk there will provide us with an opportunity to visit a nomad family who lives in a cave. Rock climbing is very famous in the region, one of the activities that you may love to try in case you are interested.
By the end of the day, we drive to Dades Valley; one of the beautiful valleys in the south of Morocco where we stop overnight.
6th day: Dades valley – Ouarzazate- Fint Oasis
The tour today is chilling, as usual, we will have a walk in the valley of Dades to discover its unique beauty. As a family vacation, you will love to walk peacefully in this valley characterized by green fields with a red soul around. Continue our way crossing the Valley of roses, a valley that produces over 4000 tones of roses every year. A particular rose blooms in April and is celebrated with a big festival in the region.
We drive crossing the Skoura palm tree admiring its palms and Kasbah. We cross again the city of Ouarzazate, just a few kilometers it’s situated our oasis, Fint Oasis where we will stop overnight.
7th day: Fint Oasis- Atlas Mountains- Marrakech
We start our family vacation trip to Marrakech by doing a small walk in the oasis to discover its charming fields. Later on, We drive crossing the High Atlas mountains to Marrakech, the red city is mostly active during the evening. You can enjoy a small walk in the famous square of Jamaa El Fena, or just chill in your beautiful Riad.
8th day: Marrakech guided tour
A full-day sightseeing tour of Marrakech, one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco founded by Marrakech the Almoravid dynasty at the end of the 12th century and always an attraction for its unique history and culture. Our guide leads you to discover the most remarkable highlights of the city; Saadian Tombs, Menara, Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia mosque with its minaret, Bahia Palace, the Souks, and the Djemaa el Fna Square. Free afternoon to experience the Hammam or do some cooking class. Night in the Riad.
9th day: Departure in Marrakech or Casablanca
