Our 6 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech is ideal to explore Morocco desert, imperial cities, the Merzouga desert, the valley of Todgha, and more. Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen
Your tour from Tangier can start From the ferry or the airport in Tangier, we pick you up, and start to drive through the Rif mountains and Tetouan city, to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains of Morocco till we get to Chefchaouan, one of the stunning villages in the feet of Rif mountains. Chefchaouen Medina (the old part of the city), its blue color become one of the best towns to visit in Morocco, surrounded by many funky arts, and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants, and cafes. Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast in the Riad, our journey starts towards Volubilis, crossing several Rif villages and beautiful countryside, we stop in Volubilis to discover the Roman ruins and we learn about the Moroccan BC history, then we will drive to Meknes city, (the 17th-century heritage) where we will stop for lunch. The afternoon is time to visit the historical sites of Medina such as Bab el Mansour, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Later on, we head to Fes city where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Fes Sightseeing
Today is for exploring the oldest city in Morocco, Fes City, walking in its alleys and small streets. With a local guide, our visit to Fes Medina starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, and the first Mellah ever built followed by “A get lost in the Medina”, walk with your local guide to the Majestic Medina alleys and high wall walls and local souks. Stop in a local restaurant for lunch. Later on, the visit to the city continue to explore the famous tanneries in Fes, Bou Anania Madrasa, the university or Alqarawiyyin, founded in 857-879, as the spiritual and educational center of the city of Fes.
Later, we drive you to your Authentic Riad in Medina of Fes.

Day 4: Fes – Sahara Desert Merzouga
Early morning we start the day towards the Sahara Desert from the Riad, crossing near the national park of Ifran, We will take a break in the town of Ifran « the Switzerland of Morocco » as it calls To enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos. After that we will head towards Azrou to see the Barbary Apes/ monkeys in the cedar forest then we Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant.
By the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Telghomt at 1907m altitude to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges, which offer amazing photographic opportunities. Later on, we will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Merzouga passing by Aoufous and Erfoud, as soon as we arrive in Merzouga, we get ready for the experience of riding camels on the dunes for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. Overnight and dinner in tent campsite.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todgha gorges – Dades gorges
If you wake up early enough, the Sahara desert offers an amazing sunrise, you’ll peacefully ride the camels backcrossing the dunes, it’s a good time to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes with the first lights of the morning.
We will leave towards Todra gorges, well known as an important destination for rock climbers. The highest and narrow west gorges in Morocco, where we can do some walking before heading to Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.
Drive: 5-hour driving/ approx 40 minutes walk
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Optional activities: Rock climbing- camel riding – Horse riding- Visiting a nomad family
Day 6: Dades valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast we start the drive to the valley of the roses which blooms in April, taking some off-road inside the palm trees of Skoura, where the architecture of the Kasbahs is spreading within the shadow of the palms. We stop in Ouarzazate city for some pictures of the Kasbah of Taourirt, as well as the cinema studios, which are the high lights of the city of Ouarzazate.
Afterward, we head to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou which is the UNESCO world heritage and the most visited sight in the south. After the walking visit and lunch, we take the road again crossing the magical High Atlas mountain via Tizi n Tichka pass 2260m. Arrive at Marrakech in the early evening.
Drive: 6-7 hours driving/ approx 1-hour walking
