Day 1: Travel from Marrakech to Draa Valley
We begin our Marrakech desert tour by picking you up from your accommodation. From there, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tiki-N-Tichka Pass (2260m) and take in the views of Berber villages perched across the valley. Our journey crosses into the city of Ouarzazate we take an off-road to the Oasis of Fint. There we have lunch in the majesty of the palm trees.
In the afternoon we continue to the valley of Draa, one of the longest valleys of palm trees in Morocco. Night in an old Kasbah.

Day 2: Drive from Draa Valley to Erg Chebbi Sahara desert
We begin with a short walk to see some old Ksars in Tamnogalte village. then crossing the old caravan road on the edge of palm trees. We continue to the village of Nkob, Tazarine, and enjoy lunch in Alnif. In the afternoon, we reach Erg Chebbi before sunset. We cross the desert landscape with a 1-hour camel trek to reach our oasis in the desert. We spend the night in the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi under the stars in a luxury desert camp.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades valley
After a stunning sunrise, we return back on camels the enjoy the beauty of the dunes. Today’s tour we pass through Arfoud, Ljerf, and Tinjdad, to reach Todgha Gorge, the highest Gorges in Morocco (300m), well famous for rock climbing. We take a short walk and have lunch there. We end our day in the spectacular Dades Valley, lined by red and mauve rocks that tower high above the road.

Day 4: Dades valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
We start our day walking along a river before descending into the Rose Valley. This area is incredibly fragrant, especially during April and May when the roses are in bloom. After our visit, we follow the road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Skoura Oasis, lined by palm groves. We visit the Amridil Kasbah, once an important Kasbah in Moroccan history. Onward to Ouarzazate where you have the option to see a movie cinema studio before driving to Ait Ben Haddou for the night.

Day 5: Explore Ait Ben Haddou site – Drive to Marrakech
In the morning we visit the unique and well-preserved Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which was classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1987. Ksar Ait Benhaddou has been a backdrop to many international movies including the blockbuster, “Gladiator.” We recommend a walk through the winding streets of the Kasbah which provides incredible views.
After our visit, we will follow the road along the Ounilla Valley and stop to visit the ancient Kasbah of Lord Basha Glaoui. From Telouat, we return through the High Atlas Mountains, over the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, and back to Marrakech.
