From Marrakech our cultural Morocco trip starts, exploring the Atlas mountains and Ait Ben Haddou ksar on our way. later on, it’s time to be part of nomadism for two nights with the nomads. Go deep into the culture with all the daily activities that nomads do. Outlast nights will be spent one in a luxury desert camp in Merzouga and another in the valley of Dades. Your homestay in the Sahara will end in Marrakech around the Early evening.

Homestay Itinerary:
1st day: Marrakech to the High Atlas mountains to Nkob village
We pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech and drive crossing the Atlas mountains through Tizi n Tichka. We stop to enjoy the view of the Berber villages and the valleys.
Stop in Ksar Ait ben Haddou where we get a Moroccan Tagine within a family home. We walk for an hour to explore The site with its beautiful Kasbahs.
By the afternoon, we head to Nkob village, Where we will spend our first night of the homestay with nomads
2nd day: Nkob village to the homestay in the Sahara desert
We drive through the Anti-Atlas mountains and the dry scenery of southeast Morocco till we reach Tafraoute where the paved road is finished. We drive off-road to reach the Bouhyara plateau where our hosted nomad family of the Sahara is situated.
Time to learn and participate in the Nomad lifestyle.
3rd day: a full day with nomads in The Sahara
Starting the day with the nomads of the Sahara, today we provide a bunch of activities that nomads do daily. With our hosted family we learn how to survive under the hard living conditions of the Sahara, from where to bring water, how to make bread, how to take care of animals, and how to share a smile or a laugh under a nomad tent!

4th day: Homestay with nomads to Merzouga
Our tour to the Merzouga desert will be to discover how tourism affects the region. Once we reach the town we will stop by a local food called Madfouna or “Berber Pizza”.
Afternoon we ride the camel to our luxury camp, where we will spend a night under the sky of the Sahara dunes.
5TH DAY: Merzouga to Todgha gorges to the rose valley
Today we drive from our luxury camp in the Sahara desert toward the Valley of Roses. We will stop by Ksar Elkhorbat to explore the best Berber Alkhorbat museum in the Todgha Valley. Later on, we continue to the gorges of Todgha, where we stop for a walk to enjoy the huge canyon. Here in the gorges of Todgha, we can stop to discover another type of Nomad, but this time the nomad family lives in a cave.
Lunch will be served in one of the restaurants.
By the afternoon we drive to Rose Valley where we spend our last night for this trip. During April/May the roses bloom in this region which is the best time to visit Rose Valley.
6th day: Rose Valley to Marrakech
Our last day in the Sahara homestay drives us through the Atlas mountains again visiting the highlight of Ouarzazate city, including Kasbah Taourirt and the cinema studios.
Arrive at Marrakech in the early evening and that’s the end of our homestay in the Sahara of Morocco.
