A short trek of 2 days trekking to Toubkal peak, a trekking trip from Marrakech to the highest summit of Morocco! for those who like a big challenge in Hiking, a trip we offer for adventurous people!

Mount Toubkal is considered the highest peak in North Africa with an altitude of 4168 m. In 2 days with an overnight stay in the mountain refuge. The hike is a perfect choice for those who want to get straight onto the majestic Toubkal peak. Welcome to the heart of the High Atlas mountains! Which provides marvelous moments observing the silent beauty of the rocks lit up with the sun’s first rays.


Program: 2 days hike to Toubkal Peak


Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Sidi Chamcharouch – Toubkal Refuge

At 8 am, we will pick you up at your Riad/hotel in Marrakech. We start to drive to the high Atlas mountain and stop in Imlil (1740m), an Amazigh village located about 65 km south of Marrakech,  from where our Moroccan trek will begin, There we will meet our team of muleteers who will accompany us and carry your luggage and equipment, An official and experienced mountain guide will lead the hike through the Berber villages via the shrine Sidi Chamharouch (2500m) to reach the mountain hut, By lunchtime, we will stop for a picnic, prepared beforehand by our cook. After enjoying lunch and having a short break, we will continue towards the Refuge (3200m). A cup of mint tea will be served for you there. In the evening, a traditional Moroccan meal will be prepared for dinner. During the summer months, there is an option to spend a night camping.

Day 2: Toubkal Refuge – Summit – Return to Imlil – Drive back to Marrakech

An early awake and prepare gear for the ascent, we will have Breakfast around 5:00 am, then start the ascent climb at 5:30 am. In the middle of our climb, we will stop for a short break with some refreshments – water, oranges, and nuts. If we reach the peak As the sun rises over Africa, we are privy to a panorama of incredible views of all the Atlas mountain, in the summit, we will have a break of 45 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the magnificent view and the silence. Afterward, we return back to the hut, where lunch will be waiting for us. To get back to Imlil we will follow the same route down the hill. Once we arrive in Imlil valley, we will be transported back to Marrakech, arriving in the early evening.
